Book Description from Back Cover

Noodle dishes are a beloved staple throughout Asia and are slurped up at all hours of the day and night. Asian cuisine expert Corinne Trang presents recipes that make it easy for you to discover such simple pleasures as the Vietnamese rice noodle soup known as pho, mee goreng (breakfast noodles with a sunny-side-up egg) from Indonesia, and Japanese soba.

Organized by type of noodle-Wheat, Egg, Buckwheat, Rice, and Cellophane-plus a great section on Buns, Dumplings, and Spring Rolls, it's easy to find just the right treat for the occasion. Prepare Green Tea Soba with Smoked Wild Salmon Bolls for a new twist on lunch, or serve piping-hot bowls of Udon with Shiitake and Garland Chrysanthemum Leaves in Broth for a unique and satisfying supper. You can even make use of leftover pork by baking delicious Sweet Pork Buns, a Cantonese specialty.

The author supplies information on basic Asian ingredients like dark sesame oil and hoisin sauce. She also describes the simple kitchen equipment you'll need and some easy techniques to master, so each dish you make will come out perfect every time. A handy source list will help you find some of the harder-to-find ingredients.

Explore the world of Asian noodles, and you'll soon be eating noodles every day.
