Gene Yang lives with his wife and son in Fremont, California.

High school sophomore Loyola Chin discovers that what she eats before she goes to sleep can lead her to other realms in her dreams. On one of these sojourns, she meets a mysterious man named Saint Danger — a saint who has lost his faith — who has a plan to save humankind. But his plan goes against what Loyola feels is right.
Background on Gene Yang
Gene Yang is both a teacher and a cartoonist. He currently teaches computer science, computer art, and math at Bishop O'Dowd High School in Oakland, California.
