Book Description From the Front Cover Flap
Writing Chinese characters is really fun. It is like drawing
pictures.
One beautiful autumn day Xiao Ming and his friends take a trip to a
farm. Xiao Ming can’t wait to show his friends the new Chinese
characters he has learned, and his friends are just as excited to
see them.
Follow along as Xiao Ming explains how to read ten Chinese
characters, and discover the beauty —and logic—of one of the oldest
picture-languages in the world.

Description
This is a nicely illustrated story that shows how Chinese characters
are shorthand symbols for the words they represent. As told in a
story about a boy and his friends’ trip to a farm it both amusing
and educational.
