Book Description from Back Cover

Everyone will be enchanted by this collection of stories featuring rare plants and animals from Hawai'i.

Like its companions, Fables from the Garden, Fables from the Sea, and Fables from the Deep, each story provides a valuable life lesson. When a hawk moth is lost, her only hope of finding her way home is to learn the language of a palila bird. A koki'o plant must decide whether to encourage his younger brother to bloom in time for the annual blossom festival. And join a Hawaiian happyface spider who shares the secret of looking at the bright side of things when a terrible storm approaches!

Here are ten stories that will entertain and inspire. All are illustrated in stunning watercolors to share and enjoy with family and friends.
