Editor's Message

Hello AACP Newsletter Readers.

I hope you had or are having (for those in Hawaii) a Happy Easter! Marhaban Ya Ramadan (Indonesian) or Ramadan Mubarak for those of you that observe Ramadan (March 10 to April 9 in the United States).

------------------

We’ve been working on preparations for the Asian Pacific Americans in Higher Education Conference this coming Thursday and Friday (April 4-5). If you are one of the conference goers, we hope to see you there.

We didn’t have much time to work on this newsletter. I didn’t even have time to have our editing staff completely review this newsletter. So please forgive any mistakes that you may find.

I won’t go into a detailed preview of the newsletter in this editor’s message like I usually do. I hope you please go ahead and find things without me enticing you to do so.

One thing that I do want to point out is that Karen Su, who I interviewed for this newsletter, is also doing a signing for us at the APAHE conference. She plans on being there in the morning on Thursday and lunch time on Friday.

We’ll also have author Oliver Chin with us on Thursday and journalist and author William Wong with us on Friday. So please do come and say hello to them.

One last thing, stay tuned for information about our big authors event at the San Mateo Library in May (19th). I hope to have more for you in our next newsletter.

------------------

Thank you Karen Su for doing the interview with us.

Thank you to our student volunteers that came to help out this past week.

Thank you Harrison and the others for your help with this newsletter.

Have a nice Spring!

Leonard Chan

Executive Editor
