The San Leandro Moon Festival is on Saturday, September 18, 2021, 11am - 4pm, at the San Leandro Main Library, 300 Estudillo Ave, San Leandro.

The Millbrae Japanese Culture Festival is on Sunday, October 3, 2021, 10:30am - 4:30pm, at Civic Center Plaza, 1 Library Avenue, Millbrae.

Hey, are you watching the Olympics in Tokyo? There are a number of Asian and Pacific Islander Americans participating. I just learned that sprinter Michael Norman has a Japanese American mother. Catch him in the finals of the 400m run on Thursday (8/5/21, 5am Pacific Time).
