Happy Labor Day Weekend AACP Blog Readers!
The irony is that we’re busy working away this weekend on preparing for the upcoming moon festivals next weekend. This will be the first weekend where we'll have two events on the same day since the pandemic started. We’ll be at the Chuseok Festival in San Francisco and the San Leandro Moon Festival.
So please come and check us out. We’d love to see you at one of these events.

Hey, if you don’t get the email version of our newsletter, you can now check out our August Newsletter right here.
We have two interesting article – one about how Artificial Intelligence is going to shake up the arts and the how it’s already obfuscating the truth. The other article is a continuation of our Mas Hongo interview series. This time Mas talks about his experience in postwar Japan as a translator for the occupying American forces.
If you’re interested in just kicking back and listening to some oldies, check out last year’s newsletter article about Hawaii’s KPOI radio station and listen to recordings from their Labor Day 1971 Marathon of Hits Countdown. You’ll be able to hear song number 116 through number 1. Start listening to the countdown at approximately 6:30pm to match the time when the records were made to get the full illusion. That’s what I’ll be doing.
Have a great weekend everyone.
Bye.
